Prosperity, Equity, and Abundance through Cooperative Enterprise.

Practitioners of PEACE

Peace, the real peace, is that which dwells deep within us as a realization of our relationship, our interconnection, with one another and all that is.

This deep inner peace, this unity, is available to us in each moment regardless of our situation or the circumstances in the world. It serves as the only sustainable pathway of peace within ourselves, with one another, and between communities, cultures, and nations.

Costa N Ndayisabye and Laura K Greiner

Born into very different situations and circumstances, we have lived lives of different cultures, in different countries, on different continents.
We live in a world with much social conflict, spiritual disconnect, and environmental degradation which we realize cannot be effectively addressed by the polices, procedures, practices, and systems in alignment with the outdated mind-set that caused these symptoms in the first place. Independently, in our own place and time, we also noticed  that:
  • It is not possible to know what our own best answers are without practicing deep peace
  • Deep peace is available to us in every moment regardless of the situation or circumstances
  • Choosing deep peace enables us to be response-able rather than reactionary
  • Navigating toward deep peace illuminates new possibilities
  • Dynamic solutions emerge from the clarity and freedom of deep peace
  • We can be the source of peace
Therefore, we engage in cooperative enterprise, growing and weaving thriving communities rooted in restorative practices of deep peace and regenerative social, economic, and environmental prosperity.

Notice resistance.

Choose deep peace.

It really is that simple.

Notice your resistance to that;

I didn't say it was easy.

Laura K. Greiner. It is my understanding that my ancestors came to this continent from Germany and Scandinavia, and I am grateful for my life here in the United States of America. However, I awoke in my adolescence to the practice of dysfunctional social and economic dynamics, and environmental degradation by my Western culture. For many years I denied my responsibility for the harmful impacts of my ancestors actions, in addition to my own, which served to establish and maintain my privilege at the expense of many other individuals and Peoples. I was wrong. I am deeply sorry and I want to make my relationships right.

To those that have been harmed, I apologize to you and the Peoples of humankind you represent for the harm, heartbreak, and loss of life and homelands, culture, self-determination and opportunity that I and my ancestors have inflicted over generations. I apologize for how little I have done to take responsibility for my own actions, and for those of my ancestors, despite my awareness ever since I was a young child of the ceaseless dysfunctional dynamics in our world.

In addition to my apology, first and foremost, I want to acknowledge the right of all people to exist and have self-determination wherever they exist, to make their own decisions, and to speak for themselves.

I also want to express my profound gratitude to all people and their ancestors that have been steadfast in attempting to fulfill our collective responsibility as human beings to honor and protect the life-support system upon which we all depend and are a part of, our planet home.

PEACE Institute International is an emerging expression of my apology and my desire to make my relationships right, an expression of my gratitude, and an expression of my most inspired vision for our world: thriving in prosperity, equity, and abundance through cooperative enterprise.

Thank you for your listening.

Laura currently lives in South Carolina, United States of America.

The best time
of my life is this.

This is the "Present"
and I celebrate.

Costa N. Ndayisabye. I am Rwandan. My parents fled our homeland in 1959 during the first Rwandan Genocide. I was born in Burundi and grew up in Democratic Republic of Congo. I faced arbitrary tortures in those countries and today I live "The Present". My family and I were repatriated to Rwanda after the 1994 Tutsi's Genocide whereby as many as 1,000,000 people were killed in 3 months. I have been committed to healing and rebuilding my homeland ever since.

Green and My Life. No one can ignore how magic, spectacular, miraculous, trees are. They do not rely to their worst experiences and always they smile to me. Despite my past inappropriate behavior, where I destroyed billions and billions of it's families, the trees continue to smile to us, providing their beautifulness. They always grow forth to remain much more useful to us by giving us a good example of Dynamic SHIFT Solutions by living "The Present". I can also live "The Present", not rely on the past, despite the way it was, there is always an opportunity within me for a dynamic shift to bring peace in me.

Costa practices deep peace wherever he goes, sharing his love with his infectious smile and speaking five languages.

He currently lives in Maine, United States of America.
